Apple’s special offers for Black Friday 2021 are now live, in a four-day event that will last until 29 November.

As has become traditional for the company, the event involves the bundling of gift cards with purchases rather than discounts on the price of Apple products. In other words, you’re making the saving on the next product you buy, not this one.

The value of the gift card varies depending on the product you buy, and can be as little as £40/$50 (with an Apple Watch SE, for example) or as much as £160/$200 (with an iMac 27in).

Here’s a list of the gift cards you can pick up with purchases direct from Apple between 26 and 29 November 2021.

You’ll notice that the offers do not apply to Apple’s most recent products. The iPhone 13 range, the Apple Watch Series 7 and the 14in and 16in MacBook Pros, for example, do not come with gift cards. But these are still decent offers, not least because stock shortages mean the actual discounts on products at other retailers may not be as good this year as in previous ones. And the value of the gift cards compares favourably to 2020, when the smallest card was £20/$25 and the biggest was £120/$150. (In 2019 Apple was slightly more generous, with cards ranging from £20/$25 to £160/$200.)
